Landscaping...

Turns out it looks a lot better than just having dirt in your "yard!" Go figure on that one. I will let the pictures (before and after) speak for themselves (a thousand words each). Suffice it to say that we have been waiting a small lifetime to get approval from our two HOAs on this project, and when I called the landscapers (WaterWise Land Design) on Thursday, they said, "Can we do it on Saturday? We'll show up at 9:00, and it should only take about 3 hours." Wow. They were awesome. Okay, time to let the pictures speak for themselves like I said I would!

So there you have it! What we now have for flora in the backyard is a Wilson Fruitless Olive Tree, a Cape Honeysuckle Staked Vine, two trailing lantanas (one yellow and one purple), two Autumn Sage plants, and one red Yucca. So exciting! I'm off to enjoy the beauty of the green things in our yard!

Hey, this looks great. You have waited for so long to have a finished back yard. It will be great to sit out and look at the tree and plants and river of rocks instead of sand. I can't wait to see it this October!!! Doug is wondering about how you will be using the lawnmower!!! Loved how the pictures were before and after!! Take care.

We agree with Pennylove that the landscaping looks great, especially the olive tree! Can't wait to have a drink on your patio in August, when we can see everything up close. Looking forward to seeing you next week!
